Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) named the recipients of the homeschool garden grants for 2026-2027.
Fifteen grants, up to $200, were awarded to homeschool educators across the Lone Star State for projects that help increase agricultural literacy and awareness.
The Homeschool Garden Grant Program allows students to make the connection to agriculture through caring for a garden project and linking the concepts they learned into their curriculum.
“These projects bring agriculture into the homeschool classroom and help students better understand the science behind food production and the important role farmers and ranchers play in feeding our communities,” said Carson Read, TFB education coordinator.
The awarded projects provide students with hands-on experiential learning about agriculture and food production.

- Backyard Bags to Bowls: Growing Big Food in Small Spaces, Harris County
