Registration is underway for the 69th annual Texas A&M Beef Cattle Short Course in College Station, and Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) members will receive a discount on registration again.

“This is a one-of-a kind educational experience for ranchers to learn from a variety of presenters on different topics,” Tracy Tomascik, TFB associate director of Commodity and Regulatory Activities, said.

TFB members first received the discounted registration price in 2021.

The short course is set for Aug. 7-9 and is the largest beef cattle educational event in the U.S.

The three-day event will include more than 20 sessions covering basic practices, new technologies and hot topics.

Live demonstrations and a trade show exhibit, as well as the traditional Texas Aggie Prime Rib Dinner, also will be part of the short course.

More than 2,000 ranchers, beef industry representatives and exhibitors are expected to attend this year’s event, but a virtual option also will be available.

TFB member discount
The fee is $260 for those attending in person and $160 for the virtual option. The prices will increase to $300 after July 27.

TFB members will receive $20 off the in-person registration fee only.

The discount is applied at registration when you use the code TXFB.
