Sponsored by The Luling Foundation and Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, the 88th annual Luling Foundation Field Day is slated for May 21 in Luling, according to AgriLife Today.
“This event will be a great opportunity for people of all levels of agricultural experience to get information on topics ranging from bees and honey production to agriculture drones, and food safety to pasture management,” said Michael Haynes, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service agent for agriculture and natural resources.
The field day is free, open to the public and will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m. Complimentary breakfast and lunch will be served. Participants will board a hay trailer at 8:30 a.m. for farm tours.
Three hours of Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be available for attendees. Post-field day equipment demonstrations will begin at 3 p.m. for attendees wanting further instruction.
