Texas students put together the pieces that make up a successful leader through the Student Success Series. Students in 8th through 12th grade can learn more about leadership and networking and grow confidence and personal professionalism.

Texas Farm Bureau Covid-19 Response and Resources

Jumpstart

Any student entering 8th grade in August 2025 is eligible to participate. Students will:

  • Become familiar with Texas Farm Bureau
  • Learn more about Texas agriculture through interactive modules
  • Grow leadership skills
  • Discover unique careers in the Agriculture, Food, and Natural Resources Career Cluster

Registration will open July 18. 

Participants will have from Oct. 1 – 31 to complete all modules. The modules are self-paced and will not be timed for completion.

Participants will receive an email with the Google Classroom access details when the modules are available.

Any student entering 9th grade in August 2025 is eligible to participate. Students will:

  • Learn more about Texas Farm Bureau
  • Be challenged to create a plan for leaving a legacy
  • Develop an understanding of the day in the life of a farmer
  • Explore the agricultural supply chain
  • Develop an understanding of what a personal brand is and it’s importance

Registration will open July 18.

Any student entering 10th or 11th grade in August 2025 is eligible to participate. Students will:

  • Learn more about Texas Farm Bureau
  • Engage with community leaders in agriculture and western industries
  • Gain insight into the free enterprise system
  • Learn how to navigate and have an engaging presence on social media and in digital environments
  • Tour a local agricultural operation

Registration will open Jan. 13. Registration deadlines vary for each event. 

The in-person events will take place in each of the 13 Texas Farm Bureau districts. The event dates and locations are subject to change.

Any student entering 12th grade in August 2025 is eligible to participate. Students will:

  • Grow public speaking and leadership skills
  • Learn more about the free enterprise system
  • Hear from engaging motivational speakers
  • Dive deeper into social media and digital advocacy efforts
  • Develop an understanding of agricultural marketing

Registration will open March 24. 

Thrive participants are responsible for travel and lodging for the event. For more information, please reference the Frequently Asked Questions document.

Thrive will be held Aug. 1-3, 2025 at TFB’s Conference and Training Center in Waco.

This program will be limited to 150 students.
