The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is making progress in its implementation of the 2014 Farm Bill. U.S. Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced Wednesday, April 2, that every USDA agency is working diligently to implement the farm bill’s new provisions quickly and effectively.
The Agricultural Act of 2014, or farm bill, contains 12 titles and over 450 provisions that reform agricultural policy, helps grow the economy and reduces the deficit, according to the USDA.
To update the public on the implementation process, the USDA has launched a website, www.USDA.gov/FarmBill, which includes a video, blogs, press releases and highlights of the farm bill.
