The webinars will provide information and resources from leading veterinarians and industry experts to help with preparation for compliance with the VFD.
The new regulations will take effect Jan. 1, 2017.
Veterinary oversight, prescriptions and a documented veterinary-client-patient relationship highlight changes farmers and ranchers will soon experience when handling medicated feed for livestock and poultry. All feed-grade or water-soluble medically important drugs for human health will be listed under the newly-expanded regulations.
Topics covered during the webinars include education about the VFD, clarification about the interpretation of the rule, actions to take now to prepare and resources available to help with compliance.
