Put your best foot forward for agricultural literacy with the return of Texas Farm Bureau’s Socks for a Cause campaign.
Now through Jan. 31, TFB-branded socks and other ag-themed designs are available for purchase online. Proceeds will benefit the National Ag in the Classroom Organization (NAITCO).
“At Texas Farm Bureau, we believe agricultural literacy starts with curiosity,” said Jordan Bartels, TFB associate director of the Organization Division, Education and Outreach. “Each purchase helps connect students and teachers to agriculture in fun and meaningful ways.”
TFB is an affiliate of the National Ag in the Classroom Organization and benefits from the national resources, programs and professional development opportunities that are funded through donations and grants.
The decision to partner with the National Ag in the Classroom Organization for the second year reflects the impact the organization has on education in the Lone Star State.
“This partnership allows us to give back to an organization that directly supports Texas teachers in their efforts to connect students to agriculture,” Bartels said. “This campaign helps strengthen that connection and ensures students have access to accurate, engaging agricultural education that ties back to any curriculum and grade level.”
Funds raised through the Socks for a Cause campaign will go directly toward supporting those efforts, helping the national organization expand its reach and continue its mission of bringing agriculture to life for students.
This year’s collection features red and gray TFB-branded socks, along with other fun ag-inspired designs highlighting wheat, cotton, cattle, sheep and more.
The socks are $13.99 per pair, with discounts offered when purchasing multiple pairs.
Orders can be placed online.
“You’re not just buying socks. You’re helping agricultural literacy take another step forward,” Bartels said.
