Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Future Scientists Program are offering two workshops for teachers to learn more about agriculture and how to incorporate agricultural concepts into their classrooms.

“We are excited to introduce this new opportunity for educators to learn about various agricultural topics and how to bring agriculture into the classroom,” said Jordan Bartels, TFB associate director of Organization Division, Educational Outreach. “By providing hands-on experiences and expert insight, teachers can cultivate a deeper understanding and appreciation of agriculture among their students.”

These two-day professional development opportunities will provide hands-on experiences for teachers to connect STEM education to agriculture. Participants will also have the opportunity to hear from experts and receive information about classroom resources that can help them bring agricultural concepts to life for their students.
