Breakout sessions and speakers will help Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) members hone in on state issues and agricultural topics at the annual County Presidents’ and Summer Conference set for June 22-25 in San Marcos.
Sessions will focus on membership and promoting agriculture in local communities.
Also on the agenda are Dr. Lloyd Potter, state demographer, who will discuss demographic characteristics and trends in Texas; John Barton, deputy executive director of the Texas Department of Transportation, who will address transportation needs in a growing state; and George Gomes, former administrator for California Farm Bureau.
TFB’s Radio Network will also take a look at the organization’s legislative session in a unique, live interview format and a variety of state legislators and staff will participate.
