For the tenth week in a row, reservoir and water storage levels across Texas are on the rise.
According to the Texas Water Development Board’s (TWDB) Water Weekly report, most reservoirs in East and Central Texas are at 90 to 100 percent capacity.
Reservoirs in the Trans-Pecos, Edwards Plateau, South and Lower Valley areas of the state continue to have storage levels below normal for this time of year.
For the fifth week in a row, the U.S. Drought Monitor shows no drought in the Lone Star State. That’s 38 percent less than this time three months ago and 45 percent less than this time a year ago.
