Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) named the recipients of the Ag Mechanics Grant Program for 2025-2026.
Ten grants, totaling $25,000, were awarded to schools and educational programs across the Lone Star State to increase students’ knowledge of agricultural mechanics and metal technology skills.
“This grant helps fill a need in trade school classrooms, giving students the chance to graduate high school with hands-on skills they can carry straight into agriculture and related industries,” said McKenna Bush, TFB Youth Outreach coordinator. “With these funds, educators can add resources and equipment that strengthen student learning while showing how mechanics and technology connect with agriculture.”
The grants are valued at $2,500.
Recipients of the 2025-2026 ag mechanics grants are:
- West Plains High School, Randall County
- Friendship ISD, Lubbock County
- Abbott High School, Hill County
- Bill R. Johnson CTE Center, Tarrant County
