Food, fiber and fuel aren’t just topics for agricultural science courses. Math, social studies and language arts teachers can also incorporate agricultural concepts in their curriculum. Teachers can learn those concepts at Texas Farm Bureau’s (TFB) Summer Agricultural Institute, reports the Victoria Advocate.
The Institute will be held June 8-12 at Tarleton State University in Stephenville.
Teachers who attend the weeklong course are eligible for 45 hours of professional development. They will take home a tool box of fun and engaging resources, including lesson plans, to use in their classrooms.
