To plan for the future under drought conditions, Texas Panhandle ranchers can attend a special meeting, “Panhandle Ranch Management: Assessing where we are and evaluating a strategy for the future,” Feb. 28 in Amarillo.

The event, hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, will feature guest speakers who will address the current status of Panhandle rangelands, current climactic conditions, restocking strategies and how to assess rangeland conditions on your property. A panel discussion will conclude the day’s events.

Registration, which is $30, will begin at 9:30 a.m. To RSVP, call (806) 373-0713 or email Nathan Carr at rncarr@ag.tamu.edu.
