Farmers preparing for the 2014 growing season can benefit from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s “Developing This Year’s Marketing Plan for Feed Grains” workshop set for Feb. 3-4 in Amarillo.

In addition to covering the supply, demand and technical factors, the feed grains workshop—co-sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Risk Management Agency—will discuss the feed grains market and analyze each of its components.

Area lenders, brokers and grain merchandisers will address key issues facing local farmers in the upcoming marketing year, according to AgriLife Today.
