The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) will conduct the annual Brown County Ag Day March 31 in Brownwood, according to AgriLife Today.
Dr. Charles Allen, AgriLife Extension entomologist, will address the coming season’s insect situation including the sugarcane aphids and other pests of summer forage crops. Harold Shipman, territorial manager for Stay-Tuff Fence Manufacturing, will bring attendees up to date on the latest in agricultural fencing.
The event will begin at 5:30 p.m. with an evening meal sponsored by the Brown County Farm Bureau.
