The annual Young Farmer & Rancher contests are a way to highlight and reward the achievements of the younger generation. Applicants for the contests must be between the ages of 18 and 35.

Outstanding Young Farmer & Rancher Contest
TFB’s Outstanding Young Farmer & Rancher Award recognizes the accomplishments of young men and women who are involved in production agriculture with a moajority of their net income subject to normal production risks.

Excellence in Agriculture Contest 
TFB’s Excellence in Agriculture Award recognizes young men and women who are involved in agriculture but do not earn their primary income from a farm or ranch enterprise.

Discussion Meet
The Discussion Meet is designed to simulate a committee meeting where discussion and active participation are expected from each committee member.
