The 34th annual Amarillo Farm & Ranch Show is set for Nov. 27-29 at the Amarillo Civic Center in Amarillo. The event will feature more than 500 companies showcasing the latest innovations—more than 900 products—available to farmers and ranchers in the Panhandle region.
Exhibits featuring major manufacturers and related shortline equipment companies—including Case IH, Challenger, John Deere, Landoll, Loftness, Versatile and many more—remain a hallmark of the show.
Educational programming is another highlight of the show, which is in easy driving distance of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles, New Mexico, Colorado and Kansas.
Presenters from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will lead sessions on Tuesday, Nov. 27, with continuing education unit credits available.
On the morning of Wednesday, Nov. 28, Texas Wheat Producers and partnering organizations will host the Texas Wheat Symposium. A much-anticipated annual tradition, the Amarillo Chamber Ag Appreciation Luncheon, will follow the symposium at noon.
A full schedule of meetings and educational programs slated to take place at the show will be posted to www.amarillofarmshow.com.
The show is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
Admission is free, with a suggested donation of $2 per person, which goes back to local FFA chapters.
