Horse owners in Denton County will receive a little help in paying for their equine vaccinations on April 12. The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in Denton County and the Denton County Extension Horse Committee will host a low-cost horse health care clinic from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 12 to help defray the costs of rabies, West Nile, Coggins and yearly vaccinations for horses in the Denton County area.

According to AgriLife Today, veterinarians will be on-hand at the event to administer the vaccinations, which vary in cost.

No advanced registration is required. The event will be held at the North Texas Fair and Rodeo fairgrounds in Denton.
