A Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) member, Heather Dineen, was named a finalist in the 2014 America’s Farmers Mom of the Year contest.
Dineen, of Waxahachie, is a finalist in the contest for her dedication to her farm, family, community and Texas agriculture. She and her husband, John, are first generation dry land farmers, growing corn, wheat, milo and hay with a small cow-calf operation.
The woman who receives the most votes will be named the “National Farm Mom of the Year.” The contest, sponsored by American Agri-Women and Monsanto Company, seeks to honor farm moms who have significantly and positively impacted their communities.
