The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and the Texas Beef Council have developed a new comprehensive website that offers instructional materials and more than 400 videos for ranchers, as well as 4-H and FFA students.
“The purpose of this site is to extend information on the best management practices that enhance our environment, food safety and food quality,” Dr. Dan Hale, AgriLife Extension meat specialist and website coordinator, said.
The site features courses on cattle nutrition and feeding, creating value through low-stress handling and market cow management, according to AgriLife Today.
The videos and courses are offered free on the site through Texas Beef Council financial support.
