Texas Farm Bureau’s (TFB) Doorways to Agriculture exhibit is growing with the addition of a new interactive trailer designed to help consumers connect with Texas agriculture.
“The new trailer expands the Doorways to Agriculture exhibit by adding new content and experiences that help audiences relate to and connect with agriculture,” said Jordan Bartels, TFB associate director of Organization Division, Education and Outreach.
The new trailer joins the existing Doorways to Agriculture fleet and will travel to fairs, livestock shows and events across Texas alongside other components of the exhibit.
Doorways to Agriculture is designed to create a more engaging and relatable experience for visitors of all ages. Consumers can explore agriculture through the exhibit’s interactive games, videos, demonstrations and presentations that highlight Texas livestock, crops and the many ways agriculture impacts everyday life.
“The design of this trailer highlights how agriculture plays a role in various industries that children and adults alike connect with daily, such as sports, medicine, fashion, technology and so much more,” Bartels said. “The exhibit helps counter common misconceptions about agriculture and showcases Texas farmers and ranchers, along with accurate facts about agriculture.”
Less than 2% of the nation’s population is involved in farming and ranching. But Doorways to Agriculture gives visitors the opportunity to learn where their food, fiber and fuel come from through interactive displays and hands-on experiences.
