In less than two days, Big Tex will officially begin welcoming crowds to the 2015 State Fair of Texas in Dallas.
This year’s fair will feature the traditional attractions, which include Texas Farm Bureau’s Planet Agriculture in the Food and Fiber Pavilion.
The interactive exhibit features TFB’s Harvest Experience, which allows participants to sit in a real tractor cab and experience the harvest of a real Texas crop.
The exhibit also includes educational information on water conservation, wind energy, Texas crops and more.
Planet Agriculture is free with State Fair admission.
The 2015 State Fair will again include an auto show, creative arts competitions, livestock, concerts and, of course, deep fried treats.
Additional information on this year’s State Fair of Texas can be found at www.BigTex.com.
The fair opens Friday and runs through Oct. 18 at Fair Park in Dallas.
