Texans who are interested in new methods to control brush are invited to attend the Central Texas Brush Control workshop in Burnet June 23. The event, sponsored by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension service, will be held at the Burnet County Fair and Rodeo grounds.
According to AgriLife Today, the event will include updates on new chemical and technological methods to control brush.
The workshop will also include a webinar, “Is our water clean? Keeping herbicides out of our streams.”
Cost to attend is $10. Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. The program will follow from 1 to 4 p.m.
Three continuing education units (CEUs) are available through the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA).
