Learn the basics and benefits of rainwater harvesting and take home your own handmade rain barrel on July 7 at the Rainwater Collection and Rain Barrel Workshop in Floresville, according to AgriLife Today.
“This workshop will provide information every homeowner needs to know about how to collect rainwater,” said Bryan Davis, Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) agent.
Rainwater harvesting conserves water and benefits plants, gardens and wildlife.
