Coming soon to a television near you—American agriculture!

A group of men and women representing America’s farmers and ranchers recently traveled to Southern California to pitch story ideas that portray agriculture on the small screen.

We’re spending time looking at what’s next after Farmland Randy Krotz, chief executive officer for the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA), said. Farmland has opened a lot of doors for us. It continues to do that. We’re taken seriously because of the success of that film. People are seeing more and more of it.

USFRA is working to bridge the gap between what is shown on television and in movies and what life is really like on American farms and ranches.

Farmland, a documentary featuring six American farmers and ranchers, was made with generous support from USFRA. It features Texas rancher Brad Bellah of Throckmorton.

The film by James Moll is now available on DVD and on Netflix.
