A Beef Cattle Management Series presented by Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service offices in Travis and Bastrop counties is set for July 30 in Elgin.

Topics will include the future of the cattle industry, information on trailer laws and updates on pesticide laws and regulations. The program will also feature a panel discussion on cattle health issues, feed prices and market outlook.

The Texas Department of Agriculture will offer three hours of continuing education units to commercial, non-commercial and private pesticide applicators, according to AgriLife Today.
