A Transformational Journey from Battleground to Breaking Ground workshop is set for June 6 in San Antonio. It will be hosted by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife), Texas AgrAbility program and the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The goal of the Texas AgrAbility program is to inform, educate and assist individuals with disabilities to stay actively engaged in agriculture.
Military veterans, active duty military, beginner and small farmers or ranchers and women with an interest in farming, ranching or agri-business are encouraged to attend the free agriculture business workshop.
The workshop runs from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Topics will include agriculture business opportunities, resource networking, business plan development, farming and ranching with a disability and funding options.
