The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) will co-host the “Going, Going…Gone?: Changing Land Use in the Trans-Pecos and Its Impact on Ranching and Wildlife” seminar on April 30 in Alpine, according to AgriLife Today.

“This seminar is being held in response to the rapidly changing land use we are seeing in the Trans-Pecos region of Far West Texas,” said Logan Boswell, AgriLife Extension agent for Brewster and Jeff Davis counties.

The seminar will help landowners better understand the land trends that may affect them and provide them with the tools they’ll need to manage this change through protecting, conserving and ultimately passing on their working agricultural lands to future generations.

The free seminar will run from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and lunch will be provided for those who preregister by April 23 by calling 210-826-0074.
