The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host a Field Crop Symposium for Coastal Bend cotton and grain producers Jan. 30 in Corpus Christi, according to AgriLife Today.

The symposium will address pre-plant preparations, alternative crops and tillage systems, unmanned scouting, pest management strategies for key crop pests, disease control, fertilization and pesticide laws and regulations.

Texas Department of Agriculture continuing education units will be offered for both pesticide applicators and certified crop advisors.

The cost is $25 and includes lunch. Seating is limited. RSVP by Jan. 23 to the AgriLife Extension office in Nueces County at 361-767-5223.
