The South Texas Farm and Ranch Show will run Oct. 22-23 in Victoria. The show will celebrate its 30th anniversary and will be host to many exhibits, about 25 speakers focusing on local agricultural issues and will offer 12 pesticide continuing education units.

According to AgriLife Today, admission to the show’s exhibits will be free, but a fee of $20—which includes a lunch ticket—will be charged to attend the educational programs each day. Proceeds will go to fund future shows and scholarships for local and area high school students who are pursuing agriculture-related degrees.

More than 125 exhibitors, about $3 million in farm and ranch machinery and the latest information and technology will be on display at the show. For a complete list of exhibitors, visit the show’s website at www.southtexasfarmandranchshow.com.

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services (AgriLife) will help host education programs, which include management and promotion of livestock and wildlife health, habitat and diversity; cattle genetics; beef nutrition; beef promotions; calving problems; crops management; Texas Department of Agriculture license recertification on pesticides application; and sessions on horticulture and gardening.
