Texas Blackland grain sorghum and cotton farmers are encouraged to attend a field day to review new research on weed and grass control and latest cotton technologies.
The 51st Stiles Farm Field Day is scheduled for June 17 in Thrall. While the focus will be on grass and weed control in grain sorghum and new cotton technologies, a new online program to help sort out the new options in the Agricultural Act of 2014 will be demonstrated, according to Southwest Farm Press.
Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service will host the field day and will include several presentations and lunch.
Cost is $10, with registration starting at 7:45 a.m.
