The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) will host a free webinar on current agricultural water conservation grant opportunities on Feb. 3 from 9:15-10 a.m., according to TWDB.
TWDB annually publishes a request for grant applications for agricultural water conservation projects and is currently soliciting applications for projects from eligible groundwater conservation districts.
The webinar will explain the application process, funding eligibility and available funding of $1.49 million for cost share of metering equipment in groundwater conservation districts with rules requiring metering.
Applications are due by Wednesday, Mar. 11 and are available online. The anticipated award date is June 2015.
