The students of today will be the leaders of tomorrow. That’s why Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) awarded scholarships to more than 60 students in their quest for higher education.
The Dick Mitchell Scholarship awards $1,000 to one high school junior or senior who attended TFB’s Youth Leadership Conference (YLC) over the summer.
High school seniors who plan to pursue a career in agriculture received the TFB’s Young Farmer & Rancher (YF&R) scholarship. Each of TFB’s 13 districts was able to award one $1,000 scholarship.
Other scholarships were awarded through the TFB Memorial/Honorary Scholarship and District Scholarship programs. In each of the 13 TFB districts, one $1,200 scholarship and three $1,000 scholarships were available.
