I am excited to announce that Texas Farm Bureau has achieved a membership gain for this year. It is very important that we continue to grow as an organization. Membership growth fuels our influence in Austin, Washington and with the people of Texas. It gives credibility to our service programs, our lobbying program and all our efforts in advocating for agriculture.
The gain in membership happened because of the tireless efforts of everyone in the Texas Farm Bureau family. Members, county leaders, the TFB board of directors, staff and others have been living examples of the value of membership. Our gain was close this year. We could not have achieved it without the work and loyalty of everyone involved.
On behalf of the board, I extend the warmest “thank you.” Our best days are ahead of us. Together, our programs are strong and our mission to be the Voice of Texas Agriculture is both a fact now and a goal for the future.
