Texas Farm Bureau (TFB) and Tarleton State University will host teachers as the 21st annual Summer Ag Institute gears up June 8-12 in Stephenville.

The week-long institute will place emphasis on incorporating agriculture into what teachers already must cover—providing teachers with curriculum ideas aligned to state standards. Teachers will spend time with experts in the field for an up-close look at some of the most exciting practices in agriculture today, where questioning and hands-on learning is encouraged.

Attending teachers will receive three hours graduate credit and 45 CPE units as authorized by the State Board of Educator Certification. Gifted and Talented credit also is offered.
