Farmers and ranchers never like to hear the word drought, so learning rainfall patterns and preparing for drought conditions can help strategize their farm and range lands.

Tim Steffens, range specialist with the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife), will conduct a webinar, a web-based seminar, on July 3 from noon to 1 p.m.

The topic is “Preparing for Drought: How to Monitor Rainfall and Stay Out of Trouble,” according to AgriLife Today. The webinar will highlight triggers to help to make informed drought management decisions.

Prior to the webinar you may configure your computer by going to http://bit.ly/LIzkB1 for the webinar software.
