Sophomore or junior high school students can sign up to participate in the 2025 Engage program offered through Texas Farm Bureau’s (TFB) Student Success Series.

The in-person events will take place in each TFB district.

Engage offers students the opportunity to learn from and connect with county leaders, build leadership skills and explore the free enterprise system.

“Engage provides students with an invaluable experience to develop leadership skills, gain insights into agriculture and learn more about the free enterprise system—all while networking with like-minded peers and professionals,” McKenna Bush, TFB Youth Outreach coordinator, said.

The program focuses on leadership development, community engagement and a deeper understanding of TFB’s mission to support agriculture.

Students will learn from county leaders, TFB organization division staff, TFB field representatives and TFB state directors on how they can make an impact in their schools and communities.

“Hearing these leaders share their experiences and involvement in Farm Bureau encourages students to take advantage of all the opportunities available to them now and in the future,” Bush said.

Each event also will allow the students to tour a local agricultural operation.

Registration is underway for the free 2025 Engage events. Registration closes two weeks prior to each event.

The district events will be hosted in April and May.

Information on dates and locations, as well as the registration links, are available on the Student Success Series webpage at texasfarmbureau.org/student-success-series.

The Engage program is part of TFB’s broader Student Success Series, which includes Jumpstart, Activate and Thrive, programs available for students in eighth, ninth and twelfth grade.
