Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) will offer basics of permaculture program on July 15 in San Antonio.

Permaculture is the philosophy of working with, rather than against, nature. It uses nature and the natural environment to emulate a natural ecosystem balance.

A part of AgriLife’s Backyard Gardening series, the permaculture program will address the origins, ethics and foundations of permaculture, as well as its principles, patterns and designs, reported in AgriLife Today.

Cost is $10. For more information, contact Angel Torres at the AgriLife Extension office, 210-467-6575 or matorres@ag.tamu.edu.
