Experts will address issues important to dairies of diverse sizes, locations and complexities during the High Plains Dairy Conference set for March 5-6 in Lubbock.

Designed to focus on specific issues from animal welfare to adopting new technology to labor and management, discussion topics will include the food morality movement, feeding calves for performance and the importance of trade for dairies in the High Plains, according to AgriLife Today.

A panel discussion also will cover managing water resources, LED lighting and an update on human resources training and safety programs.
