A free workshop addressing feral hogs is set for April 28 in San Marcos. The Hays County Feral Hog Workshop will be held at the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service office in Hays County.

According to AgriLife Today, topics discussed during the workshop will include basic ecology and biology of feral hogs, regulations for transporting feral hogs, disease concerns, control techniques, feral hogs and the Brazos River Watersheds, hunting regulations, feral hog population dynamics and resources.

Attendees who hold Texas Department of Agriculture private pesticide applicator licenses can earn two general continuing education units.
