Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) offices of McLennan, Bell and Coryell counties will host a spring forage workshop April 8 in McGregor, according to AgriLife Today.
Topics will include weed and grass identification; establishment and managing fertility of warm season grasses; and weed and brush control. After lunch, a walking tour will be conducted with plant identification.
Registration begins at 8 a.m. The program costs $20, includes lunch and runs through 1:30 p.m. Three Texas Department of Agriculture general continuing education units will be offered.
