Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service (AgriLife) will host a crops/weed management tour on Sept. 8 in Carson and Gray counties, near White Deer.
Beginning at 10:30 a.m. at the Carson County Gin, the tour will include topics on insect issues, crop progress and weed management with late season issues and controls.
Those attending will also tour weed demonstration plots to look at different herbicides and effects on different types of weeds and will look at an irrigated cotton variety trial north of Pampa on the Davis Farms, according to AgriLife Today.
