Beef and dairy producers can take advantage of free Beef Quality Assurance (BQA) certification online until April 15, according to Farm Futures.
BQA is a national program that provides guidelines for beef cattle production. The program raises consumer confidence of receiving a quality product through offering proper management techniques and a commitment to quality within every segment of the beef industry.
With an overall focus on animal handling and disease treatment and prevention, online certification modules are customized to meet the needs of cow-calf, dairy, stocker and feedyard operators.
