The Stiles Farm hosts a field day each year presenting the latest research and management practices for farmers and ranchers. The 51st annual Stiles Farm Field Day is set for June 17 in Thrall.

Several presentations will be of interest to Blackland farmers throughout the region, according to AgriLife Today. Morning topics will include weed and grass control in grain sorghum, drought strategies in pasture management and new cotton technologies.

After a barbecue lunch, equipment demonstrations will be conducted and participants can view an online decision aid tool to help them with decisions pertaining to the 2014 Farm Bill.
