Starting in late January, Cargill’s communications plan offers additional transparency to consumers by sharing more information about the ground beef, including finely textured beef, produced by the company.

Citing dialogue with consumers and retailers, Cargill designed the ground beef communications initiatives to provide additional information to enhance consumer awareness.

According to Drovers CattleNetwork, consumers can scan the QR code printed on Cargill products to access information about the ground beef while in the store. After scanning the code, consumers are directed to CargillGroundBeef.com, which provides information about the products, packaging and the process Cargill uses to bring ground beef to grocery stores.
