Farmers and ranchers who would like an update on the farm bill or other issues important to agriculture are invited to attend Texas A&M AgriLife Extension’s Lower Rolling Plains Agricultural Conference April 9 in Snyder.
According to AgriLife Today, the annual multi-county conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Scurry Coliseum.
The event will include an update on the farm bill, new herbicide technologies, commodity economics, pesticide laws, plant disease management during a drought and more.
Continuing education credits are available to those who qualify.
Farmers and ranchers interested in a pesticide applicator’s license will need to RSVP by April 1. All others are asked to RSVP by April 7. Cost is $25 to attend and includes lunch.
