Farmers who are eligible for marketing assistance loans (MAL) and loan deficiency payments (LDP) through the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) may now submit their requests to the agency.
According to the USDA FSA, MAL and LDP for the 2014 crop year become available beginning with harvest season and extend through that commodity’s final loan availability date.
