To help those interested in growing fruit, the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is hosting a Multi-County Fruit Tree Seminar Feb. 21 in Winedale, according to AgriLife Today.
Monte Nesbitt, AgriLife Extension program specialist in College Station, will be the featured speaker. He will address a range of topics, including varieties, variety selection, pruning and other related topics. Visual demonstrations of these practices will take place at a Winedale orchard.
Registration, which includes materials and refreshments, is $20.
