Good news, Texas. By the end of February, Texas is likely to be drought-free.
That’s according to a new seasonal drought outlook released by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
Currently, less than one percent of Texas is now experiencing abnormally dry or moderate drought conditions, according to the Texas Water Development Board’s Water Weekly report.
The Wichita Falls/Vernon area remains the only part of the state with moderate drought.
Terlingua, parts of central East Texas and a few other spots remain abnormally dry this week.
