Homeowners and professional landscape managers alike are invited to this year’s East Texas Turfgrass Conference set for Feb. 6 in Overton.
The conference, which is designed for professionals but open to the public, will include information on turf weed identification, pesticide updates, water issues and drought management, according to AgriLife Today. Two live demonstrations will focus on pesticide drift and sprayer calibration.
Five continuing education credits for those with applicators licenses will be available.
Registration for the event is $30, payable by cash or check at the door, and will include a catfish lunch. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Texas A&M AgriLife Research and Extension Center in Overton.
